I'm Clair, a Glasgow-based food and drink photographer working with hospitality and food-led brands on projects across the UK.

With a background in fine art and professional kitchens, I bring both creative and practical experience to every shoot. I understand food from the inside out. I know how it behaves, how it should look, and what it takes to make it feel genuinely alive on camera. That combination of artistic instinct and hands-on knowledge shapes everything I do.

I create contemporary, brand-led imagery that brings together food, people and place. Work that feels natural and confident, and that's built around a strong understanding of how images perform across campaigns, digital platforms, packaging and social media.

I've built long-term relationships with some of Scotland's most celebrated brands, including Ardbeg, Glengoyne, Quality Meat Scotland and The Balmoral, as well as producing editorial and cookbook work in collaboration with Scottish publisher Kitchen Press. I'm experienced across a wide range of productions, from focused studio shoots to larger commercial campaigns involving full creative teams and agencies.

On set I'm known for being organised, clear and good to work with, keeping shoot days running smoothly without losing the energy and focus that makes the work good.
